Welcome to ZAPBOOK, a bookkeeping and accounting application developed and operated by ZAPMICRO Technologies.

By creating an account or using ZAPBOOK, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About ZAPBOOK

ZAPBOOK is a bookkeeping and accounting software designed to help businesses record financial transactions, manage invoices, bills, expenses, assets, liabilities, and reports.

ZAPBOOK is provided as a software tool only.

ZAPMICRO Technologies does not provide accounting, taxation, auditing, financial, banking, or legal advice.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Every transaction entered.
• Every invoice generated.
• Every bill created.
• Every customer record.
• Every supplier record.
• Every financial report.
• Every accounting decision.
• Every tax calculation.
• Every GST filing.
• Every legal compliance applicable to your business.

ZAPBOOK only stores and displays information entered by users.

3. Accuracy of Data

Users are solely responsible for ensuring that:

• All data entered is correct.
• Reports are verified.
• Invoices are accurate.
• Balances are checked.
• Tax calculations are validated before filing.

ZAPMICRO does not verify or audit any information entered into the application.

4. Data Backup

Users must maintain their own regular backups.

Although reasonable efforts are made to protect your data, no software or hosting environment can guarantee against data loss.

You agree that:

• You are responsible for downloading or exporting your business records regularly.
• You should maintain offline backups.
• You should keep copies of important invoices and financial records.

ZAPMICRO shall not be liable for any loss of data, corruption of data, accidental deletion, hardware failure, hosting issues, cyber attacks, or any other event that results in data loss.

5. Hosting & Service Availability

To keep subscription costs affordable, ZAPBOOK may operate on shared hosting or other cost-effective infrastructure.

Accordingly:

• Temporary downtime may occur.
• Scheduled maintenance may occur.
• Server interruptions may occur.
• Network outages may occur.
• Third-party hosting failures may occur.

ZAPMICRO does not guarantee uninterrupted or continuous availability of the service.

No compensation shall be payable for temporary interruptions, maintenance periods, or hosting-related downtime.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZAPMICRO Technologies shall not be liable for any:

• Financial loss.
• Business interruption.
• Revenue loss.
• Profit loss.
• Customer loss.
• Tax penalties.
• Accounting mistakes.
• Legal disputes.
• Penalties.
• Interest charges.
• Data loss.
• Hardware failure.
• Hosting issues.
• Internet failures.
• Cyber incidents.
• Software bugs.
• Indirect damages.
• Consequential damages.
• Incidental damages.

Your use of ZAPBOOK is entirely at your own risk.

7. Invoices, Bills & Documents

Every invoice, quotation, estimate, bill, purchase order, receipt, report, or other document generated through ZAPBOOK is created solely based on information entered by the user.

ZAPMICRO is not responsible for:

• Invoice contents.
• Pricing.
• GST values.
• Customer disputes.
• Supplier disputes.
• Payment disputes.
• Fraud.
• Document authenticity.
• Legal enforceability.

The user generating the document remains fully responsible.

8. Illegal Activities

Users agree NOT to use ZAPBOOK for:

• Fraud.
• Money laundering.
• Tax evasion.
• Fake invoicing.
• Illegal accounting.
• Unauthorized business.
• Deceptive practices.
• Unlawful financial activities.
• Any activity prohibited under applicable laws.

Any misuse may result in immediate account termination.

9. Compliance

Users are responsible for complying with:

• GST laws.
• Income Tax laws.
• Companies Act.
• Accounting Standards.
• Local business regulations.
• Labour laws.
• Any other applicable government regulations.

ZAPMICRO does not guarantee regulatory compliance.

10. Subscription

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Failure to renew may result in:

• Suspension.
• Restricted access.
• Eventual deletion of stored data after the retention period specified by ZAPBOOK.

11. Software Updates

ZAPMICRO may:

• Modify features.
• Improve functionality.
• Remove modules.
• Fix bugs.
• Change pricing.
• Discontinue features.

without prior notice.

12. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, logos, icons, designs, source code, UI, content, and trademarks remain the exclusive property of ZAPMICRO Technologies.

Users may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or redistribute the software without written permission.

13. Account Suspension

Accounts may be suspended or terminated for:

• Illegal activities.
• Abusive behavior.
• Payment defaults.
• Security threats.
• Policy violations.

14. Disclaimer

ZAPBOOK is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

No warranty is provided regarding:

• Uninterrupted service.
• Error-free operation.
• Financial accuracy.
• Tax compliance.
• Business outcomes.

15. Acceptance

By using ZAPBOOK, you acknowledge that:

• You understand these Terms.
• You accept full responsibility for your business records.
• You agree that ZAPMICRO Technologies shall not be held liable for claims arising from your use of the software, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.
